Penylan Farm is a working beef and arable farm which was originally part of the Rolls Estate. A two minute walk to the highest point behind the farm will guarantee you breathtaking views of the Sugar Loaf, Black Mountains and surrounding countryside.
Visit the magnificent border castles (the Three Castles Walk is nearby linking the Norman castles of Skenfrith, Whitecastle and Grosmont), join in the many outdoor sports on offer or simply stay at home and unwind in the tranquil surroundings.

To reach Penylan Farm take B4233 out of Monmouth towards Rockfield/Abergavenny. This will take you over roundabout near old gatehouse and straight over three mini roundabouts. Bear left in the village of Rockfield (approx. 2 miles from Monmouth) staying on B4233 towards Hendre. Half a mile before dropping down into Hendre village, take a right turn to Newcastle (just past a white bungalow on right).
Follow road for approximately 1 ½ miles. After passing Llangattock Montessori School on the left take next left turn (opposite cottage on right).
Penylan is situated approximately ½ mile down road on right hand side.
