The Farm & Local attractions:
This mixed arable/livestock farm is located near the village of Bettws Newydd in the centre of Monmouthsire. It’s excellent location means you benefit from the peace and quiet of the countryside with only a short drive to the M4 corridor, Cardiff, The Brecon Beacons & the Wye Valley. There are many local attractions including local castles, Big Pit, Caerleon’s Roman Baths, the Monmouthshire/Brecon canal & Cardiff’s Millennium stadium. The farm is adjoined by Alice Springs Golf Course and the Ryder Cup’s next venue The Celtic Manor is just a 20 min drive away. There are plenty of local activities including gliding, hot air ballooning, cycling and walking; the Usk Valley Walk passes through the farm.
Directions:

M4: exit at Junction 24, take A449 to first exit A472 into USK, turn right at black & white hotel onto B4598 ABERGAVENNY road, stay on B4598 for 4miles until you see the Chainbridge Inn , bear right opposite the Inn, up this country road to top of hill where you will see a sign on the left - THORNBURY FARM B &B.

M5: exit M5 at junction 8, Take M50 to South Wales. Take A40 through Monmouth. Around 5 miles past Monmouth take next exit after Services (Signed A40 Abergavenny & Raglan) Raglan bypass to roundabout, take 4th exit (signed Clytha) keep on this road 3.5miles, you pass through a rock cutting , take next turning left signed Bettws Newydd (also Golf Course sign) keep on this country road 2 miles, at village pub (Black Bear) bear right to back of pub. THORNBURY FARM is first farm on the right.
